Online Korean retailers have posted listings for a “You Think” version of Girls’ Generation’s fifth album to be released on August 26th. Girls’ Generation’s fifth album has two title tracks, “Lion Heart” and “You Think”, with the “Lion Heart” version of the album having been released on August 19th. All songs from the album are also available on iTunes and Korean music portals.

Taeyeon Wins Triple Crown on ‘M! Countdown’
On October 29th, Taeyeon won first place on Mnet’s “M! Countdown”. This was Taeyeon’s third win in a row with “I” on “M! Countdown”, making “I” a Triple Crown song and removing it from the running from this point on. Taeyeon was not present to receive her award and was instead holding her “Taeyeon’s Very Special Day” concert.
This was Taeyeon’s ninth win for “I”. Her eight came on SBS’s “Inkigayo” on October 24th, which was not broadcasted.

Yoona Opens Instagram Account
On September 27th, Yoona opened an Instagram account for fans to follow. Her Instagram username is yoona__lim (two underscores). Yoona’s first photo is of herself in front of fans outside a recording for “Show! Music Core” on August 22nd, with a caption saying hi, and hashtags wishing followers a happy Chuseok (Korea’s Thanksgiving Day) and saying that this is a surprise present.
Taeyeon Performs ‘I’ on KBS’s ‘Music Bank’ Special and Wins Weekly K-Chart
On October 16, Taeyeon performed for a “Music Bank” special, the Incheon Airport Sky Festival. Taeyeon sang her solo debut song, “I”, for the audience in attendance and also for viewers watching live. Taeyeon also sang a very short part of “U R” in an interview with the “Music Bank” hosts.

Seohyun to Star in Chinese Film, ‘So I Married an Anti-fan’
Seohyun has been cast in a Chinese film, “So I Married an Anti-fan”, in the role of a trainee junior. EXO’s Chanyeol will be the lead actor on the movie. “So I Married an Anti-fan” is based off of webtoon of the same name, which is about a celebrity who falls in love with a reporter.
Filming for “So I Married an Anti-fan” has already begun. Seohyun was seen leaving Korea on November 2nd to travel to China for filming. She returned to Korea on November 4th.

Yoona Opens Weibo Account
On November 9th, Yoona began a Weibo account under the username linyuner90. Along with her first photo post, she wrote in Chinese, “I’ve arrived~ It’s almost winter in South Korea, how about for you guys? Everyone please take care of yourselves! Be careful to not catch a cold! p.s. Although my official name is ‘Lin Rune’ (林润娥), to Chinese fans, saying ‘Lin Yuner’ (林允儿) is more familiar, so I just used this name to start Weibo. You all should come here and chat with me!”
Yoona has now joined Jessica, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung on Weibo. She also opened an Instagram account this past September; Instagram posts can be seen on the right side of Soshified’s portal page, under “SOSHI ON INSTAGRAM”.

A perfect steak for perfect company. Tonight we treated ourselves to a trio of monster sized T-bone steaks. In fact, this was Heather’s first T-bone and I assure you, she was not disappointed. The recipe calls for an interesting rub which turned out to be spectacular. I must admit, this was one of the better steaks we’ve had in a very long time. With the steaks, Heather served up a mozzarella/baby tomato salad and we also added mini-aubergine topped with a homemade miso-based bbq sauce. The result? A resounding 10/10….again!

Did you know that today is Chocolate Cake Day? I had no idea this celebration existed, until a few days ago when I read it somewhere and thought to myself: what a great excuse to eat a big piece of chocolate cake!
I don’t think this recipe for a rich, fudgy and syrup-drenched cake is originally fromPeru, but it’s hugely popular in Lima, and I doubt there is anyone who hasn’t eaten this addictive cake at a birthday party celebration once, or many times.
